HOPEHIV Skills Auction

Following on from last year's Skill Auction Garden Party, where we dined on fantastic food and raised stonking amounts of money for HOPEHIV, we have decided to do it all over again.
It will be on Saturday September 6th at the Social Club at St Teresa's Church (on the A38, Gloucester Road North, leading to Filton) from 2pm to 6pm and food and a bar wil be provided.
£5 a ticket will cover the catering cost and drinks will be available from the bar. We are hoping for a fun afternoon with lots of skills up for auction. Come along, take in the atmosphere, and enjoy a drink in the sunshine!
So far we have the following skills to auction:
Italian lessons
2 hours of cleaning
12 Bottles of wine
Bang + Oulfsen posh headphones
Photography session (portraits)
Photography lesson 1 hour ish (DSLR instruction)
2 hours of lifting, carrying, moving, gardening etc... "man's work!"
a lesson in "share trading - beginner guide to the stock markets"
A lesson in the uses of Photoshop
surf lessons -but the buyer will have to provide\pay for own wetsuit and board (£15-£25 depending on time of year and length of lesson).
Teach the Russian alphabet. A 2-hour session will get you reading this familiar but odd-looking alphabet! You will learn the letters matched to the sounds, using Russian words that handily sound like their English meanings - and by the end of the session you'll be able to spell your name in Russian and identify English celebrity names in Russian newspapers! Location: Bristol, AML offices (or Revolution vodka bar!)
A home visit to sand and oil your kitchen woodware, up to 10 miles from Bristol
Proof reading, dissertations, projects, wedding invitations, autobiographies etc.; grammar, style and spelling. Suggest 100 pages max.
Record a hip hop track or jingle, MP3 files to take away, help with lyrics possible. Available in September. Location: St George
A home baked cake!
Mountain biking: A trip round the local trails one evening after work then over to Wales for a full day at a trail centre.
2hrs kayaking with Instructor for one or two people
"How to Cook Authentic Indian Curries (of Choice)" along with dinner for two (after August 11th)

We are looking for more skills for the auction, so do you or your friends have any skills they could donate? All suggestions are welcome, so if you have anything, let us know!
In order to make the event real success it would be great to have as many people along as possible. The more bidders we have on the day, the more funds we can raise for HOPEHIV. It will be a fun event and help us raise lots of money for HOPEHIV...
Things to think about;
1. Buy a ticket or several as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
2. Invite others - everyone is welcome, from your neighbor to your Gran
3. Donate a skill or two!
