Rat Race Fundraising

As you know, 3 teams from Add Momentum are entering the Rat Race in Bristol in order to raise £10,000 for HOPEHIV.

The aim of raising £10,000 is to make a real difference to the children of Kenya by supporting the PSS Project, which touches the lives thousands of orphans and vulnerable children. The PSS helps to establish Weekly Kids Clubs; safe havens where they may learn to play, make friends, receive support and counseling to cope with the trauma of losing a loved one to HIV/AIDS.

£100 will help 20 orphans and vulnerable children to attend a weekly kids club, where they can learn and play in a safe and supportive environment.

£250 will enable help children attending these clubs to receive grief and trauma counseling from a trained volunteer.

£500 will train one volunteer youth officer to run a weekly kids club. This club can reach up to 200 children, and the volunteer will be able to make home and school visits, ensuring these children are well cared for and can achieve to the very best of their potential.

The more we raise, the more we will be able to help HOPEHIV help as many children as possible!
